Ibrahim Traore is an American-born actor, raised in New York City. At the age of 11 he attended boarding school in Gambia (West Africa) for 4 years and 2 years in Mali (West Africa), In those years he learned to speak multiple African languages and can read and write Arabic fluently. While there, he also studied various martial art styles and still trains regularly.
At the age of 19, he returned to New York, to focus on acting where he studied with Bob Krakower, Gary Swanson, Jennifer McCabe, and the Ivana Chubbuck Studio based in L. A. to name a few. While in New York he worked as lead and or supporting actor in several short films, some of which have gone to Oscar-qualifying festivals like Austin, NiteHawk, HollyShorts, and Pan-African Film Festival to name a few.
Ibrahim is also a model who worked with fashion Photographer Glen Luchford for Gucci Pre-Fall 2017 campaign, shot in London. He was also a model for OnePlus, an Asian phone company, and Looney Tunes clothing brand. He's also shot with many NYC fashion photographers.
